April Weekend Workshop

Croí Connections full weekend retreats are set up to foster growth and healing in a safe & supportive environment. It is a place for self-exploration through connection and community engagement, with a focus on holistic personal development.

This weekend workshop will consist of our core themes of;

A Native American Sweat Lodge

Guided Holotropic Breathwork

Shadow Work / Emotional Processing

We will also introduce other activities over the course of the weekend.

The Native American Sweat Lodge will be facilitated by Michael Maisey, a vastly experienced and initiated Lakota Sundancer from the UK. This Sweat Lodge could last anything from 2 to 3 hours and can involve storytelling, visualisation, meditation, singing or chanting. Michael will use knowledge from many sources but the main source is the primordial wisdom which exists within us all. There will be ice baths available and a cold shower to indulge afterwards. This is optional !!

Conscious Connected Breathwork encourages natural healing from within and helps us to reconnect to the innate wisdom within our bodies. The body can hold on to unresolved emotions, pain and trauma long after an event has passed which causes the nervous system to remain in a state of heightened alert, causing stress, tension or anxiety. Breathwork can help to regulate the nervous system and restore balance. It can also help to relieve tension and increase resilience and recovery, as well as aiding the release of old trauma from our bodies.

Shadow Work or Emotional Processing provides an opportunity for those willing to be guided through a process of sharing a current difficulty or an unresolved traumatic event from your past. You are invited, willingly, to step into a supportive space, guided by your facilitators, where you can tell your story. Shadow work may be evocative and challenging but can be transformative and may provide clarity for the participant. This deep emotional processing can provide a catalyst for an individual to let go of something that is holding them back in their life and allow space for healing, love and connection. Please note that going through such a process is entirely optional for each participant.

When booking on to our events you will receive a full itinerary regarding what you will need and you can tell us your accommodation and food preferences. Quality, fresh food, tailored for all will be provided and accommodation will be either indoor or outdoor camping. The indoor venue at Glebe House is available with air mattresses provided.
